TG:re vol 5, omake 7. Who is Furuta? Half-ghoul?
"So the volume 5 omake shows us that Furuta was indeed the guy that Touka talked to in TG, and that he knows she’s a ghoul
But how does he know? Because ghouls have a heightened sense of smell. But then that means that he’s a ghoul working for the CCG, and they have RC scanners that they have to pass though, so that seems not likely, right? Well if you remember, Kaneki was able to pass through the scanner undetected, so we know that half ghouls can make it through.
If you remember, Kanou confirmed there are 6 half ghouls that he’s made
Takizawa, the twins, and Kaneki have been confirmed. Everyone’s pretty sure that Amon is the 5th, so that leaves one we don’t know.

Furuta immediately recognized she was a ghoul and it seems like it was the first time he met her.
