They both look basic to me, they are too much alike to be compared. And they don't have a indivual style.
Itachi wears a group cloak, Madara wears armor.
But I would say Itachi, because Sasuke kinda solo'd Madara look, he stole his look and made it his own.

I'd be hard pressed to say, Itachi for everything. Character is a given. Madara's style and design are quite boring to me. He's a more feminine version of Hashirama to be brutally honest.
