who is a better shinobi itachi or hasirama

Hashirama is a more powerful shinobi than itachi its evident but in terms of contribution towards konaha i think itachi is a better shinobi and when hashirama said it he may be saying it truly and not just a casual statement

It's hard to tell because we don't know much about hashirama but he found the leaf village so he has too be a good shinobi. But i would say itachi because he killed his own comrades and left the village to protect them

I think Hashirama believes the fact that Itachi killed his own family is more than he ever HAD to do....so based on actions I think Itachi is the obvious winner.

On a principle of love for the village, and willingness to protect it...I'd say they are equal!

first off he didnt have all nine bijuus second he and madara founded kohana and third reread the manga again p.s dont worry everybody makes mistakes lol
