This! In his time, it was normal to kill each other's opponents, he killed alot of them for sure!

nah I believe 3rd raikage has killed more than pain but madara has killed the most

in one particular battle its pain... throughout the whole series its orochimaru (all the people he's killed in battle plus all of the failed experiments, and some of his own people he's killed for either betrayal or not doing what he said)... idk how many ppl were in the uchiha clan at the time of its eradication but since itachi had help i dont count him high on the list, and i also dont think he killed a lot of ppl during his time as an anbu or rogue as his tactics are usually settle and to the point (i.e. he doesnt just jump in and slaughter everyone)... orochimaru is definitely the most "kill first, find out where we stand next kind of person" and he's seen and survived through a lot (the war, all of his resurection tech victims, all of his edo victims (both while mastering it and while using it), anyone who may have crossed him on the way, all experiments, and the list goes on)...

If we aren't including Edo, then I I think it would be between Kakuzo and Madara.

Madara was the second strongest of his time, so there's no doubt he killed a lot during his time. I'm not sure anymore though since most of the time it seemed as if he was fighting Has hi.

I think Kakuzo because he was alive during 3 wars including the one with Hashi and Madara( not sure .though). He killed a couple of akaktsuki members as well.

Nagato has killed more on screen, but Madara might've killed more off-screen. Sure, he grew up in a war period, but that doesn't mean he was going around getting finishing blows all the time. He's not the only Uchiha, plenty of fodders have gotten kills during his time.

Sasori probably has more, but it's hard to determine. We first have to take into account if he literally meant hundreds of thousands, or if it was just an exaggeration of like, a few hundred. Also, We have to take into account just how many people were in Konoha when Nagato destroyed it. Plus, it was said he was also going out to other nations, so that adds up more.

Uchiha Clan
Minato& kushina along with some villagers in konoha
Konan
Fu and torune
and some fodders.

Obito is fodder when in thi category even sakura soloed him
