Who in Naruto actually deserved their power?

Although most people will probably say Naruto, I'm going with Lee. He worked his whole life not knowing a damn thing about ninjutsu or genjutsu, but he found out his strength and worked on his taijutsu. See, the problem with Naruto is that he was already born with a large chakra pool and given the Kyubi sealed in him. Sasuke was born into a famous Uchiha clan and was already born with natural talent. Lee was born from nothing and worked his way up to obtain his goals and become strong. Naruto was destined to be the child of prophecy, so In a way, it was already his destiny to become strong. The toad sage said that himself. Sasuke was born to have gifted eyes.

Kabuto.

He was rather talented with medical ninjutsu and within some more covert arts of the ninja. He was intelligent enough to inject others DNA and have it blend and work so..Marvelously. After that, he even was capable of mastering sage mode and taking edo tensei to another level.

I Believe Lee, Naruto, and Hinata were the most hard-working out of the whole anime and deserve credit. Not only that I respect them all for never giving up.

You have two up there who deserve it equally, that being Gai and Lee. I pick them both because they both worked very, very hard for their power and to get where they are. They are well rounded and respected and revered as two of the greatest taijutsu users around.

I respect people who either work for their power (ex: Gai and Lee), people born with "natural" talent and who simply use their amazing assets (ex: So6P, Hashi and Itachi), and go-getters who "take" power with careful planning (ex: Madara, Oro, and Kabuto). I can't, however, respect fodders who have been spoon-fed power from birth (ex: Naruto and Sasuke), and actually think they are something special.

Actually, of we're going off technicalities, then only one person actually stole from the tree...

Plus there are people who don't have chakra or the ability to use it... So there's that too.

Your avatar reminded me of another person who's great in the series. Shikamaru, of course! May not be powerful exactly with brute strength, but he's crazy smart and tactical and uses those to great strengths.
