Who here remembers the the anime called Shinzo?

It was about protecting the last remaining human called Yakumo and the battle against the followers of lanicuries. Then when they died turned into cards. Anyone remember this show?

Yeah I remember it, used to watch it on Jetix or whatever Disney called that channel years ago.

Yes I do. But I only remember the boss Mushrambo.

Yeah, I loved the character concepts and the animation. I'm still getting goosebumps when I think about the animation of the fat cat/lion quake attack and Mushra's attacks.

What has always been bugging me though, was that the story took huge leaps, like they just decided to cut a huge part out in the middle. I mean they were fighting those 8 generals or something and then after the 3rd general the story was already done, some weird time shifting paradox occurred to have an even weirder climax and then the series was done. I never understood what the creators were thinking.

I also always lolled at the name 'Mushrambo' xd
