Who here reads the Manga but not watch the anime???

I just wanted to know how many people here read the Naruto Manga and Not watch the anime version SHIPPUDEN?


Me I love both with a passion and I always thought the manga and anime went together like Black and gold...


Please LET US KNOW how you started getting into Naruto aswell!!!!

honestly i can't stand the naruto anime, hopefully shippuden will be better, but i read the naruto manga avidely, so i know most stuff about it, as some people have seen with my absurd theories lmao.

Must be with just reaind ghte manga, it came out like 4-6 years ago in shonen jump when i was in tri cities in middle school, and continuned reading it throughout high school then discovered mangavolume, then onemanga.com

the first place was something called Naruto Returns... then I was hooked up by this chick who told me all about onemanga.com
I read it from there always.. and find they are always the first ones to release them!!

I couldnt just do the Manga with out the anime!! I even called up Tokyo TV and asked them all about it.. will the anime catch up to the manga... cost me around $45 for the call. Shit what a mission!!! and finding an English speaking person wasnt that hard...

I watched worlds greatest fights on You Tube back in 2000... and it showed the Vally of the end fight between Naruto and Sasuke... as well as Goku foghts and Kimmbo.....

I had to know more!!! More!!! more!!! more!!! Naruto!!! Naruto!!! who again... Oooh Naruto!!!

What was shitting me the most was what they did to Inuyasha... How they stopped the anime half way through!! If they did that to Naruto there would be hell to pay!!!

I kinda do both.

I like to read the manga and get a little insight on the manga from the anime, like the time in the manga when Sakura cried but we didn't know why until we watched the anime when we see that she's crying b/c she's conflicted with her feelings concerning Naruto.

I'll start watching the naruto anime, when the fights become longer and cooler without the multiple flash backs. thats my opinion.

Naruto Manga Rocks!

Hi friends, I am not much into anime. I used to watch DBZ when I was in school. I've got a friend who used to download all sorts of Anime youtube videos (Fights, AMVs, etc.) I had already lost interest in DBZ and still do not find it very interesting. One day this friend of mine showed some videos of chunin exams to me and I was enticed by this series. I like to read all sorts of books and had read lots of japanese stuff in the past, so I found this series to be very interesting. I've never watched much of Naruto Anime, only read the manga. Though I saw the last shippuden episode to watch the Asume Team vs Akatsuki fight. I would say the Naruto Shippuden graphics have improved a lot. I hail from India and here Naruto comes dubbed in Hindi on Cartoon Network, it's not that much fun to watch. Also I don't think they ever show any episode after the chunin exams arc, so it basically sucks. I hope I'll watch the whole anime series someday. I don't have the time to do that right now. I love reading the manga and discussing it with all my friends here on NB

On February 2008 I was finally able to have wide bandwidth, and began watching several videos on You Tube. By then I had decided that I would train to become an animator and began watching cartoons.

I began researching on Anime, and wanted to know what a shounen was about and Naruto was in the list of the most watched, so I was curious about it and began watching Naruto (not shippuden). And became a fan.

When Sasuke left Konoha I wanted to know what happened between him an Naruto, and as after watching some other chapters I realized this was never ending so I began researching info in forums and found that I had to read the manga, so I went to the manga instead of watching the series to know what happened and find out about the fillers. I'm not yet an expert on ANime, but know a lot thanks to Naruto, and keep using Japanese words (-chan, -san, -kun, otaku, kyubii, etc). I've also watched other Anime such as Death Note, Denno Coil and follow Bleach because of him.

I used to watch the anime but i wanted to like get further so i had to keep searching till i found which chapter the episode was based on, then i like read 20 chapters a day lol, anyways The manga is pretty much the same as the anime, the only difference is is that i don't already know what is going to happen in the manga, also the manga rocks when i read it i can actually visualise the motion inside my head, when i try to remember it i see motion, which i think is ausome!

I always read latest mangas and latest episodes of naruto..i do watch and read both..i really like naruto a lot..very great story line and twists moments..naruto pawns..i even watch fillers arcs and movies..right now there is a movie that is coming called Naruto Shippuden : Bonds...for the 2nd time ever..Sasuke and Naruto will team up do defeat a villain that is destroying konoha..that movie will own a lot..if you want to see it here's the link..the trailer..another rasengan move will finish this movie i guess..because all movie's of naruto..the finishing move is rasengan..i hope its Rasengan + Chidori..

Hey what up guys !?!?! I started watching the Naruto anime about a year and half ago I think. I remember making fun of my brother when he used to watch it cuz I didnt know what it was about. Then he started telling me about it, so he got me into it. After watching the latest Naruto anime I wanted more, so I got on youtube and myspace and started re-watching the episodies since the 1st episode cuz I didnt know the begining of the story. Afterwards I noticed that after regular Naruto they had Shippuuden as well, now I know more than my younger brother, he will ask me sometimes how much has it progress and ill let him know. So I watched all the shippuuden episodes, then I heard people talking about the manga (around Jan of 2008) so I asked what it was and found out. So Ive read all of the manga as well, and read the Kakashi Gaiden too. Im looking to read the the 4th's Gaiden too, if I can find it. I used to be a big DBZ fan too, but then they got me mad when they came out with DBZ GT. I didnt really get to watch the Saga when Goku kills that pink guy, forgot his name. I think the Cell Saga was pretty cool. Aright back to Naruto LOL

At the time i was watchign dbz in tri cities, shonen jump was just coming out to america, giving away 1 free new edition blue eyes white dragon, i remember how cool that card looked, and the manga's inside, one of them being naruto, which became my favorite. then hikaru no go and yu yu hakusho, but it wasnt till i was like a sophomore to jr that naruto was just coming out to an anime, so i've stuck with the manga for a long time, and just couldnt really like the anime, espically with the voice actors =/ i was expecting naruto a little cooler sounding w/o the whole "Beleive it" saying.

my friends told me to watch naruto.
they always talked about it and i didnt like to be left out of the loop.

so i watched the naruto anime english dubbed vesion. sorry to say but i didnt like it until jiraiya came in. yes i watched 53 episodes of something that i didnt like.

well when jiraiya came in i thought "hmm this is actually quite good"
then i started to watch all the dubbed episodes till they ran out then i went on to the subbed.
and when the anime ran out i went on to read the manga.

i still watch the anime but am looking forward till the dubbed version comes out. only watch subbed atm. and read manga of course
