[Discussion] Who here got bored of Pokemon anime?

I haven't watched pokemon since I was like 12. It has been forever.

I remember when the second generation came out, and I really tried to stay with it, but I just couldn't warm up to all of the new pokemon. I did like the legendary ones though, like Entei, Lugia, and Ho-Ho etc.. but that was about it.

I just loved the originality of the first generation.

Ones I could never find/catch was the legendary dog's and lugia.

I've been bored of it for quite awhile, Ash gets on my nerves and I don't like half of the new Pokemon. That being the ones based on objects, which are in my opinion flat out weird.

The mega evolution special was better than the whole anime put together, it and Pokemon origins in my opinion.

I think I stopped seriously watching Pokemon during gen 1 Still love the games though and cant wait for Gen 7

The anime was trash from the beginning.

If you want to watch good Pokemon-stuff, please watch the first movie "Mewtwo strikes back" and the 4-episodes special "Pokemon Origin", which is much more like the first generation games. No Ash, but Red is the main character. The animation is wonderful and it is on-point.

My pokemon-heart will always belong to the first movie. So sad, dramatic, teaching and yet funny at the same time.

I stopped watching the anime a long time ago, because Team Rocket became...annoying, for lack of a better word. The entire concept of Team Rocket had so much potential, so it was irritating when every episode had the main three being blasted off into the sky :/

Its too bad there isn't two Pokemon series, one that is the Pokemon with have now with Ash and the other Pokemon with trainer Red which involves using the Manga as its source or using Pokemon Origin and Mega evolution.
