I care about a complete story any questions, pairings, or prophecies that have been made in the story come to fruition. I just really hate questions left behind after the ending of a series so I look for as the artist to answer as many questions as possible(including pairings). I'm just greedy.:x3:

For me pairings add a level of depth into the series. Because teenagers who are ONLY about shutting on bad guys and creating peace and have no attraction to ANY *** (for that matter) feel very unrealistic.

It also helps give people drive to win or continue their plans (Obito for the second part).



Do I want the manga to always focus on pairings?! Hell no... Like you, seeing Shinobi kick ass is what I like. Kishi adds a perfect amount of romance...it is there every now and then, but usually disappears as the action starts.



It is the people who post outside of the "Pairing Sticky Thread" that make it so over the top.

the only people who hate the pairing aspect/romance behind the manga are probably immature dweebs. some people prefer a little more mature content and not just hack and slash kiddie thing.

however the pairinig wars totally get out of hand i will def agree. Kishi adds just the right amount id say, but the people behind certain pairings (wont name any supporters, we know who they are) are complete ass trolls about it. its like their pairing or death to earth...which is also very immature.

I fully agree. This is a shounen manga, I think it's kinda contradictory for Kishi centering the attention on cheesy matters that belongs to the shoujo styled manga.

Anyways, it's fully understandeable having people talking about these things on the forums, but it's not valid for them taking manga panels as "proofs", because a single reason: This is a shounen manga, there "will not be" any panel that makes a explicit reference to romance, and by transitivity, that can be used as proof.
