He spent 3 years training under Orochimaru, and canonically has been experimented on, it is possible that the effects gave him a natural healing ability, and the immunity to poison then the Orochimaru cells increased that

Because the Naruto fanatics feel it somehow takes away from Naruto's epicness if the other guy who has 6 path chakra as well is capable of healing himself. They want to desperately believe that Sasuke has to rely on Naruto for everything. And, unless Kishi holds their hand and provides a screen by screen/ Panel by panel explanation to the most minute detail, it isn't plausible at all where Sasuke is concerned..

I suppose the more important question is:

Why am I, a known Uchiha hater, defending Sasuke?....:bdpf:

I doubt it has anything to do with the Naraka path, as we've never seen it used in such an application. It's far more plausible for it to just be an effect of Hashirama's cells.
