Who has the better ideals:Naruto or Obito?

Both characters wish to change the world and achieve peace but who has the better ideals?

Naruto believes that if he got rid of hatred then everyone will stop fighting and starting working together in harmony.His ideals are peace through love which is what the SO6P wanted and why he favored the Younger Son,however can that actually work as long as people are selfish or self-serving?Sure Naruto may achieve peace now but what happens when he and the current generation dies?What happens if some people still have old grudges and start the cycle of hatred all over again?IMO while noble Naruto's ideals requires people to defy their human nature and not desire anything the others have and the peace won't last for long.

Obito's ideals are to erase the current world because people are already suffering in it,his ideals represent peace through power that the Elder Son believed which caused a feud between him and the Younger Son.However could anyone say Obito's ideals are any better?He would strip people of free will by putting the entire world into a dreamstate which is what certain groups from other media have attempted but ultimately failed,some would say Obito is doing this for selfish reasons and because he suffered everyone else should accept being put in a dreamworld.

Naruto. Despite the illusion world, Obito's goals are almost self motivated (to restore his life to how it was before he saw Rin die, and decided this world was cruel). Also, Obito's goal robs people of free will which I don't think is a good ideal.

well narutos ideals of ending hatred is the hardest thing to do as people arent born with ideals and not everyone will agree to it as you have people in the world who gain pleasure from others misery and so long as free will exist ever lasting peace is a myth and the best that you can do is try to control hatred the best way possible i cant wait for kishimotos answer to peace is i hope it isnt a fairy tale ending im hoping its something that makes the fanbase think about his answer.

with obitos he basically is robbing the world of their free will and doesn't care if they agree or not as he has decided its whats right just because he witnessed a loved one die and he doesnt really care about the world at all seeing how he will kill anyone as they will be their in his dream world

so out of the two narutos is the better one as he isnt really going to force it on people and he really hasnt said much about it and he hasnt really preached his ideals to anyone plus if or when naruto achives this goal it will be worth so much more than creating the matrix lol

Both ideals are wrong to me. Obito for thinking that an Illusion and stripping people of free will brings true peace. What is honestly the point of the peace if no human being has any free will? Sounds like a seriously boring utopia. No bonds, no enjoyment, Peace? more like complete and utter slavery and Madara is no better when it comes to these ideals either in this scenario. Plus how would the human race even survive a whole genjutsu when they can't reproduce?

And Naruto for believing the naive ideals that everybody can be changed through the use of a few words. The sad truth is, if you said that to someone in the real world they would laugh straight in your face. People become vengeful and change completely from the war and a few consoling words is not going to change their point of view whatsoever. It's cringe worthy how the alliance all united together just from one speech, if they had slaughtered my whole entire family, I would still bear some form of hatred towards that nation.

Even though there is no such thing as peace, the only ideal that has struck me remotely through the series is Nagato's. He acknowledged himself that people can't be changed and knows the repercussions of his actions, so he takes the world by force to achieve it. It's not as excessive and unimaginable as Obito and Madara's route but also not as naive and simple-minded as Naruto's way. For peace to be achieved, sacrifices must be made in the world.
