Who has had the saddest childhood? Naruto, Sasuke, or Garaa?

My own answer is Garaa

I'd say Gaara.
Not only did he accidentally kill people, but the only person that respected him (Yashamaru) tried to assassinate him.

Not even Naruto or Sasuke had it that bad.

that's a tough question to answer, each one has different reasons why they have had a bad childhood. The worst I would have to say .... I can't choose lol. Naruto and Garra both experienced pain for being jinchuriki, but at the same time sasuke had his whole family killed by his lovable brother to be told to avenge the clan by clinging to hatred and to face him when he has the same eyes.

On your list i would say Gaara.

• No one liked him.
• People kept trying to kill him.
• He was told it was his fault and that he killed his mum.
• The only person who he thought he had a bond with tried to kill him and just before he dies he tells Gaara that he actually hates him.
• His dad thought he was a mistake and useless.

I mean shit, nothing but constant bad shit happening to him.

Easily Gaara. Everyone just hated him and treated him like shit. Naruto almost had it as bad, but he had a few people who genuinely cared about him.

It is undeniably Nagato. I have argued this before but nobody has quite started from nothing in war conditions and lost every single thing they love quite like Nagato.
