You are drinking wayy too much obama cool-aid.

I have a book of his, which is entitled "Basic Economics," so I'm quite aware of his ideas. He's not immune to being wrong, such as his unemployment claim. Everyone knows there are different ways of measuring unemployment, but they have all followed the same trend. Also this video is from 2010, which was only two years into his administration. It's easy to make claims, but unfortunately for Thomas Sowell, most of his claims have been disproven by the fact that the economy has been recovering greatly. Sticking your head in the sand to push your anti-Obama agenda doesn't change that.

Unemployment is relatively low, the deficit has been decreasing since he became president, and the government had a budget surplus just this month. That's not to say the economy doesn't have problems, because it does, but most economic problems can be traced back to the Bush administration.

Also posting videos is lazy. Maybe it'd be better to post commonly-cited academic papers or something.

I said Rand Paul but it's way too early. They've barely started discrediting each other yet. XD

What exactly did Obama personally do to influence the crude oil price drop that boosted his 2014 economic numbers? If it was up to him we would have less and pay more for oil. And Obama has increased the debt more than any other president with very little to show for it besides Obamacare ( which does absolutely no good for the economy.) How can you attribute the recent moderate success to a stimulus enacted 6 years ago. By all means lay out for me Obama's economic successes.

Here's the problem: You want to blame Obama for a shit economy he inherited, yet when I bring up the fact that the economy has drastically improved, you're going to ask what he had to do with it. Do you not see the problem in that? If you're going to blame him for every economic mishaps, you need to give him credit for every economic success. Otherwise, it shows your bias against Obama. I gave his economic successes which people will look back at. Pulling us out of a recession, reduced unemployment, and reduced deficit.

Also, the debt isn't a reliable statistic to base economic success off of. All it is is a boogeyman statistic. The deficit is what economists look at since it looks at debt in relation to GDP, and by all accounts, the deficit has decreased since Obama took office.

As I don't blame him for the crash of 09 I won't then give him credit for things he didn't do. The decline in crude oil price is the reason for the 2014 bounce back. Giving a man who directly stands in the way of that ( keystone pipeline) credit for it is moronic. His policies slowed recovery from 09- the first 3months of 2014. He got lucky. And don't take any Bush as a model of conservative economics. As for reduced un-employment, that decline is due to the people who've stopped looking, no longer counting against the un-employment rate.

Wrong. They voted for obama and his policies and believed in hope and change.

Well blacks in America tend to be less educated than their white counterparts (not racist data backs my claim). So I find it hard to believe that 96% of any group let alone black people actually studied his entire platform or the platforms of his opponents.

1. Refrain from double posting, as you are breaking the rules of this forum, i will let you off this time but next time i will report you to a Moderator.

2.I don't have to get a degree or to be formally educated to make me understand that obama supports gay marriage and a universal health care system, matter of fact i don't have a college degree yet but i am well aware of his policies and so are the others blacks.

I'm not talking about the level of education, I'm taking about being bad a regular high school. Politics isn't a primary concern of the black community. It shows in their test scores

Did herman cain win any primaries? All they heard was Obama vs Romney
Figured you say that. I was talking about publicly backing him. However, if you want to play that game I'll play.
Barack Obama v Mitt Romney
Blacks: 93:6 (Percent of blacks who voted for them, respectively.)

Barack Obama v John McCain
Blacks: 95:4

George W Bush v John Kerry
Blacks: 11:88

George W Bush v Al Gore
Blacks 9:90

I could go on, but the trend stays the same. The trend isn't that blacks vote black. The trend is that blacks vote democrat almost every time and consistently. The fact that Obama was black was a bonus and pulled out younger voters because the older ones were already voting.

You are helping illustrate my point about black under education. Instead of trying to make their own way in life and be free from an oppressive government, they assume that the party not giving handouts is racist and anti-black. Even though i've proven many times on this forum that democrat polices actually hurt black independence

Speak for yourself i know people both democrat and republican whose life has been saved by obamacare, who had preexisting conditions and can now register for health care.''Oppressive government'' in your opinion, the democrats both white and black who were the majority as seen in the last presidential election think this is the system best suited to them and their needs, it does not have to fit your narrative? Oppressive for you? Good for over 50 percent of americans! Actually im black and democrat policies don't hurt me one bit, it is your narrative. Dont bother linking me useless videos again on youtube. If they choose to lie on their ass all day its their business you might dislike it but you cant force anybody to do anything. I always told people if you don't like your taxes going to welfare programs, then quit your job and leave the united states, no one is forcing you but if you are then stop complaining and move on.

Off-course blacks will have the lower percent of education because of most of them coming from poor backgrounds with broken families or homes and being already exposed to gang cultures.

Also i am sensing some racial discriminatory tones in your comments on this thread, i will ask you to tone it down as i wont take it!

So because a majority of a race votes one way, they are uneducated?

I just find it odd that the least educated group votes 90% one way. I think the reason for white parity is they are the most represented in the elections so they actually look at policies.

But you're wrong, Hispanics are the least educated.

Percentage of adults over the age of 25 with at least a high school degree or equivalent(GED).
Whites: 92%
Blacks: 83%
Asians: 89%
Hispanics: 62%

Native American: 78%

Your racial bias is wrong this time :lol.

All that proves is that hispanics go into the work force more. Look up high school test scores by race. Better yet
