I DON'T WANT TO START A WAR! All im asking is who has worked harder because i dont think its as obvious as everyone thinks.
1. Naruto- Ok in part 1 without a doubt this guy was a workaholic he tried and got were he wanted through sweat and tears but seriously in part 2 since the child of prophecy thing i just dont know its almost as if its been handed to him the guy is destined for greatness. Ok he had to learn sitting still for sage mode and creating rasenshuriken was badass but for someone whose destined to be beast is it hardwork?
I'll keep it short to avois bias
2. Sasuke- Sasuke was just a genius in part one but when he went away with Orochimaru yeah ok he was on some class A drugs but still he was doing work. In my opinion in shippuden ive saw more work from him in shippuden learning to control Amaterasu Susanno etx even through pain. Im not saying hes stronger or sucking him off saying hes a God or anything but getting to were he ease seems to have been more physically demanding and even emotionally demandinh getting ps came at the cost of his brothers death and taking his eyes.
I've purposely ignored the power up from the sage because it reeked of b.s. Ive probably come across as biased but it wasn't my intention i like Naruto and Sasuke pretty much equally.
Naruto worked harder, just because he was said to be the child of destiny doesn't mean he is given power; in fact the Sage said Naruto was worst than Ashura.
In part 1 Sasuke did train hard but being a natural born genius does allow him to have an easier time. His Sharingan also helps him learn things faster. Naruto had poor chakra control due to Kurama and had to work harder than others to try and be on their level; we learn this when Ebisu told Naruto his chakra control is the worst on the team. Naruto trained hard to learn Shadow clone, climb trees, walk on water, learn to summon, learn rasengan (extremely advance shape manipulation according by Kakashi). Sasuke trained to learn his fire jutsus, climb trees, increase taijutsu and speed, learn lightning element and chidori then used Orochimaru's pill to increase his base stats and gain CM lvl 2.
In Shippuden Naruto had to learn wind nature transformation, learn wind Rasengan then FRS using 200 clones, Learn to coat his kunai with wind chakra from Asuma, learn SM and it's jutsus, trained to get some of Kurama's chakra (waterfall of truth/fighting Kurama), trained to use KM (chakra arm would crush boulders when he first tried holding them, gained some control over his speed, trained to learn tailed beast bomb, other rasengan jutsus). In the war he learned how to use tbb with Kurama's help, Kurama taught Naruto the chakra transfer jutsu while they fought), after gaining the all Bijuu chakras he was capable to combine their chakra elements to his Rasenshuriken (Rasengan alone is extremely advance chakra control, FRS would be much higher than that and being able to combine it with lava which would be wind+lava means Naruto's chakra control is above all).
Only time we see Sasuke go train is when Sai went with Oro and Kabuto back to their base and before Sasuke attacked Oro. He did learn how to use Amaterasu and Susanoo in battle and both are S rank jutsu but Naruto learned many more jutsus than that and pretty much all of them use really high chakra control which was Naruto's worst skill before. We see Naruto physically suffering in his training than we do Sasuke training so how is Sasuke's more physically demanding? Naruto would train until he collapse. As for emotional, Kurama killed both of Naruto's parents, he was hated by the villagers for his whole childhood, he lost Jiraiya (which allowed him to go train to learn SM) and all of this gave him a deep hatred which he needed to get past at the waterfall of truth.
