Seriously? Naruto still had a pretty bad life. He just managed to grow a pair and get on with it in the same way Hashirama did. Naruto has definitely one of the darkest childhoods.

But out of the Uchiha it does have to be Sasuke, even though Sasuke was given an exit strategy in the form of Team 7, his entire life was governed by people manipulating him and telling him what to do. It's not fair.

Also Obito definitely SHOULD be considered here, I hate people who just say 'He just got friendzoned lol' NO. He fought as a kid in a world war, he lived in people's shadow, he cared about literally 1 person and she died, he was an outcast of his own clan and then what happened with Madara. Christ. Arguably you could argue that Obito had it worse than Sasuke in some ways. Obito had everything of his taken away from him too, Obito and Sasuke are more alike than you may think- both were innocent, nice Uchiha kids who were then forced to watch the murder of the people they loved (Rin/Sasuke's Parents) by the person they loved the most (Kakashi/Itachi) and then they were slowly tainted by people older than them (Itachi/OldManMadara) and their minds were corrupted with revenge and hate.

Obito had it f*cking bad too.

why is Obito out of the question? Unlike the rest of them, he was stripped of his childhood and lived a life of complete isolation and despair

Madara at least had his brother for a long while and a whole Clan

Itachi had a family

Sasuke had friends and people who cared for him

Obito had nobody except for zetsu.....it's like being in captivity

There are always stories of when people are held captive by the enemy and the only thing that keeps them going are the thoughts of the people they love and the hope of seeing them again.....well Obito loved Rin and considered Kakashi as a dear friend only to find out Kakashi killed Rin in front of him

No it's Itachi. He had to kill all the people he loved against his will, as well as live with himself for years afterwards, and sacrifice the talent that he had, becoming a martyr for the greater good
