Who had the strongest pair of bodyguards?

The bodyguards of Danzo, Mei, Ay, Onoki, and Gaara are/were all impressive shinobi. They all checked each other up at the Five Kage Summit, but which pair of bodyguards were the most capable of backing up their opposing glares?

Most of them are borderline featless and its pointless to speculate their true strength.

The bodyguards of Kazekage and Hokage were the only ones that have actual feats and I'd argue that Torune and Fuu were likely above Kankuro and Temari.

The difference between the two sets of bodyguards is that one is picked from the strongest village and picked because they were the top of their class and the other was picked from the weakest village because their were the siblings of the Kazekage.

You're both wrong. Darui was a GENERAL. However, Shee/C lacks offensive capabilites, which makes me give Gaara's bodyguards my vote. Both Temari and Kankuro are beast shinobi, so they're more balanced.

Guys, Fu has no combat abilities except for swinging his tanto around, and Torune's attack is melee range only (not counting filler). They have nice teamwork yes, but their feats are not that impressive. So they might be the most efficient pair but Temari and Kankuro are stronger in raw jutsu-power.

The strongest guards in my opinion were the Tsuchikages. Kurotsuchi and Akatsuchi were pretty menacing in that Deidara fight. Plus they can fly.
