I thought it was obito just because of the two names Tobi and Obito. Tobi is just obito moved around and without the extra O.

Me really, those are my reasons I thought it will be Obito :

- His name is was Tobi the same, similar to Obito.

- Kishi didn't created Obito in Kakashi Gaiden for nothing.

- We saw that he have only right eye, and Kakashi got his Sharingan in his left side.

- Kakashi used Jutsu similar to Tobi's when he chased Deidara.

- He was an Uchiha, who could it be? of course that wasn't Madara, Tobi's hair is similar to Obito's it's impossible for Kishi to change someone's like Madara his Hair.

- Madara don't have any reason to hide himself and use A mask we saw that Tobi has something to hide.

-Right side of his face was crushed - that confirmed it..

- He lost to Minato, so no way it's Madara, Madara would rape Minato.

I never once doubted that it was him. The fact they had a similar technique.

They both had one eye.
His face was all crushed.
He was a sharingan user.
He talked about kakashi in a person level.

There was to many hints.

Firstly i guessed obito and kagami. Obito because of one eye and when after danzo's death he opened the mask the back side reminded me of kagami but atlast the name of tobi and obito matched.

Didn't people guess he was Obito since he was first revealed way back in chapter 280 or whatever?

After Madara got Edo'd, I thought he was either Izuna or the SO6P's Elder Son and that there's no way he could be Obito (though I did think it could be someone in his body).
