Overtime we've seen some characters who were initially strong and formidable to fight to be rendered useless for some unbeknownst reason (ok, plot shield). Who got it the worst?

Me: Sasori. His arsenal on paper was deadly during his time in the Akatsuki and while facing Chiyo and Sakura. Came back as an edo, and has virtually none of it at his disposal and loses miserably. WTF.
