That dude was nobody. He only had seal so far. And his biggest achievement with his own power was sealing juubi in himself (i can give hm credit for inventing it thou).
Madara can do it, so can obito and probably hashirama n nagato could.
Hell even itachi could seal it with totsuka in theory.

He created the moon after he got much much much more power from juubi, just like naruto has from kurama, w/o it both arent that good.
Amaterasu has all the chances to burn it down

you are wrong, kurama even stated edo madara power is just a fragment to so6p(and last time i check sasuke is not madara).

First sow me a scan as to when did kurama ever said something like that!
Kurama never met non jinchuriki so6p, his claims wouldnt be credible. Seals are the cheap ways for defeating bijus/juubi.
All that rikudou could have at that time is good stamina, chakra and sealing technique.
In comparison madara or obito are far stronger due to power they have along with stamina
