Naruto himself....During is life he wanted the best..his Friend left and yet the Snake guy could bring him Back(sasuke)...he Saved the Villiage and still they choice kakashi for Hokage

Jiraiya's life time goal : To find the boy of the prophecy = Achieved

Kakashi's life time goal : Has not been stated, and the things you mentioned about him happened when he was a kid. Besides the Sasuke incident which wasn't his fault or his failure.

Minato's life time goal : To be a respected Hokage = Achieved

Itachi: yes he himself admit that he had been failing, and I agree.

Jiraiya didn't fail, he trained both Child's of Prophecy.

Kakashi didn't really fail, I mean it wasn't his responsibility to protect Obito and he must of had a good reason

I know that feeling bro,I wanted to be a unicorn but I failed miserably...
OT: Probably Itachi.He took responsibility for many things but couldn't really succeed doing them.
It wasn't Jirayia's responsibility to protect Minato and Hiruzen.He was away most of the time,it wasn't like those two were relying on him and he let them down.
Minato protected Naruto if you think that Obito tried to kill him and take Kurama to destroy Konoha.He successfully sealed Kurama and protected the village from destruction.He also protected Naruto,he might have failed to save Kushina.
Kakashi wasn't responsible for Obito too,or for turning Sasuke back.If Naruto and Sakura were ok with that,Kakashi would have tried to kill him,and would have succeeded from day 1.He screwed up with Rin though.
