only samurai were known to commit sempaku( or watever its called ) this would happen if they did something dishonarable so they would kills themselves in honor by stabbing themselves in the stomach and cutting themselves through the side.. the closest person to them would be the person to cut off there head before the person commiting senpaku would scream this was to hang on to there honor
