No matter who takes on the fight scenes, if they continue using SP, the quality will be terrible.
Even the "best animation" this series has offered (i.e. Madara's entrance, Kakashi vs. Obito) is lackluster when compared to a majority of other anime out there.
Unfortunately SP seems to be going for quantity over quality, and they know people will accept the lower quality due to loyalty.
Not really.
A tiny amount of animes have good animation and
any extraordinary choreography. I've seeked out the supposed animes with great choreography but less than 10 have matched Naruto in that department.
The best ones that come to mind like Samurai Champloo, Afro Samurai and Sword of the Stranger that do live up to Naruto in choreography don't often the come to the same standard of cinematic effect as Naruto can in the best scenes.
Animators that have worked on Naruto are some of the most revered animators in Japan, beating other animators. But first you must understand that there is a lot more to judging animation than just the fluidity and artwork paired with it; especially so with animes like this.
Then we have to take into consideration that this anime has been going for over 300 episodes for the second half alone. There isn't a long running weekly anime in history that has consistently good animation every week. Why? Because the studio handling it would go bankrupt as anime is a very expensive business.
That's why Sakuga is so popular in the first place, although it is clear to see that SP do take liberties with that at times. Although there is a lot worse around, like Studio Deen.
They've took the mick far worse than SP have ever done.
