But what can they really show at that point? only his everyday life which pretty much being buried in paperwork.

There are no wars going on because Sasuke is on patrol and the beasts are also guarding their designated territories.

The only time there would ever be interesting happening is when it comes to world level catastrophe.

Also I'm half half on the idea of things becoming Dragon Ball-esque.

I want them to showcase their abilities and what not but in order to do so, they must have someone just as powerful.

Sasuke can probably showcase it against Naruto but we aready had that showdown and the idea was to break the cycle so I doubt they will have another of those.
