Osu!

First of all if this is a Karate/Martial Arts Thread. You should all start by with saying Osu!

Which none of you did. You either have no respect for what you are doing all of you or you were never taught the discipline of real fighting.

OT: Go train a few months with Kyokushin style then go to kickboxing. It will make you feel stronger. Also try some Muay Thai/Muay Boran. They are similar to kickboxing but far more funnier if u ask me.

I trained a few months in KyoKushin until i ended up in a nasty situation and realised: "Wait i have no reflexes to dodge punches that aim the head". This is how i ended up training in Kickboxing and Muay Thai.

Osu isn't universal. Why would a Thai Kick boxer say it? Why would Brazilian Jujitsu user say it?

i received my 1st dan in shotokan-ryu when i was younger, and stopped due to studies and work left me only personal time to train

once i finished school began wing chun

my sifu, is a student of a student of Grandmaster Ip Ching, and really is a wonderful person

one think i can say over the past few years it really has condition me further than karate ever did, however the application of real life scenarios are comparable at the same time very different

I achieved my first dan in TKD when I was 15. Been doing it since I was 12. I quit my senior year in high school, I'm 19 now so, roughly 7 years experience in TKD and I loved it. I now box on my own and go sparring at the gym a lot. I also wrestled for 3 years in high school.

I am self taught on Muay Thai, Muay Buram and Savate. I have little knowledge of various other MA's such as BJJ and Judo.

I regularly keep my knowledge fresh by continuously practicing on my own. It's very dangerous and terrible but I also do underground street fighting.

I did it for self defense and a way to relieve stress. It overall helps me in fundamentals in the sports I play.

Boxing for 2 years now. Am not planning on quitting any time soon, too much fun. Why? Because i felt attracted to the sport since i was a child, something about boxing made me fall in love with it.

I learned a little boxing, kickboxing, wrestling, and juijitsu. When I was little, I earned a green belt level in Shotokan-Ryu karate. I quit because a Black Belt bullied me in class and school. But he stopped messing with me when I learned how to wrestle (I kicked his ass). I only wanted to learn for self defense.

I took Tae Known Do for like 8 years which keeps you in shape. I do martial arts because it helps me release anger and it keeps me calm.

I watch WWE so yeah, you could say I can knock out anyone. :coffee:

Now serious Almost started MMA last year but I dropped it because I was afraid of lack of time.
Though, I do exercise at least 7/8 hours a week boxing/ fitnessing/ spinning. I've always adored Martial Arts,
but I'll keep it at just watching. I look up at people who do.

I recently got black belt in karate (I've been doing it since I was 5) and yeah I do it for self defence

This. I'm a first dan black belt, but people never believe me because they've never ever seen me angry or violent. :|

Also I don't remember stuff except a few kathas because I quit ~4 years ago to spend much more time with my true love, football.

I do Taekwondo. I got into it to lose weight, but I stayed because I liked it.
