I dont know what manga you are reading, but in Naruto, up to this point, Naruto has romantic feelings for Sakura only.

It's real conflicting coz nothing has been said on the matter further when hinata confessed her love to naruto then u got kushina telling naruto to pick someone like your mum and who's like her - Sakura! I think Kishi isn't very good with the whole romance side of things if he has a woman working with him he should ask her!!! Or me!!! At least I will make it so we all know where the characters stand with each other..

The only thing that is sililar to Kushina and Sakura is their anger thats it. If u compare Kushina to Hinata - they really r both easily embarased and blushes alot xD Either way Hinata deserves Naruto - she protected him. I mean she literary jumped in front of him to protect him even when she knew her opponent was much much stronger than her.... Sakura could have but she didn't bother....

fact- naruto and sakura are lil jiraiya and tsunade...jiraiya loved tsunade but never got his chance cuz of dan just like i foresee Naruto not getting Sakura cuz of Sasuke (possibly)

Sakura does seem much more like Kushina to me btw. Kushina makes those comments (loving commands) about naruto eating his veggies and stuff and finding a girl like his mom. Sakura does care about naruto alot and his well being, she just has her sakura like way of showing it where as Hinata is of course more gentle and caring for what naruto wants. its almost like Sakura+Hinata= Kushina lol. Hinata and Naruto developed early on but then things rather halted until her confession durin the pein arc.

my personal opinon is this:

at the end of the arc or wherever i think naruto is going to confess his love to sakura and sakura will do the right thing. sakura feels bad and doesnt understand after all shes put on naruto before how he could love her like he does. I see a jiraiya tsunade situation happening, meaning i think sakura is simply going to tell naruto she doesnt deserve his love and point him in hinata's direction. I do think hinata is on the back burner with naruto but he wants to try sakura first. she knows how hinata feels and that hinata's feelings are geniune towards naruto, so i really think regardless of how she feels on the situation, she will turn him down and hinata will get her chance. later on i think (if sasuke is saved) he will eventually get with sakura and those 2 will be the only pairings in the end.
