Nope hagoromo and madara would've been perfect.

The author really messed up big time with naruto, he was suppose to be a normal child with a devil inside him with no special prophecy. Same as sasuke he was suppose to die like a real indra rinnecration after he fights with naruto to death but no they decided to give us that half assed childish ending in which both indra and ashura would live.

Both of them living was sensible IMO (Naruto shouldn't be responsible for Uchiha extinction), even both of them fighting against Madara was a good idea, but it would have been better if they died fighting eachother and both ended up with Hagoromo's chakra

Naruto would be the best Hagoromo transmigrant, it would make more sense for Sasuke to be Kaguya's. (Sharinnegan)

And Neji would have made the best Hyuuga transmigrant. :hmm:

I can picture Hamura and Hago having the same relationship as Neji and Naruto

Jiraiya would be the most suitable Hagoromo transmigrant, they are very similar.

Ouch xD Ok, how about Sasuke taking over Akatsuki after gaining Rinnegan and killing Obito Then Naruto awakens Hago's chakra when Sasuke kills him, and beats Sasuke till both of them give up. :yeah:

Lol you don't really have to ask for my opinion if you would've liked it that way but honestly the option with both of them dying is little better than the current ending. ....
