Do you know what abolishing the IRS would do to the infrastructure of our government? I'm all for small government, but the moment you eliminate the only way the government has to organize it's finance in terms of taxes, not only do you downsize the government, but you effectively cut off millions of dollars that go to states that desperately need money to keep their state governments running. The economy is bad enough, let's just chuck education with it too. Tuition rates would skyrocket and public universities and colleges wouldn't have "public" prices. And please don't tell me that the EPA is useless either. If you are truly an idiot (which I believe you are), then let me explain something.
We are faced with the largest energy crisis in the history of the United States. Oil prices are skyrocketing and the way the economy is going, the US Dollar will probably be replaced with the Euro or the Yen as a counter for the global economy. We receive some of the cheapest oil/gasoline prices you idiot. Europe pays 6 US dollars + for 1 gallon of gasoline, while we whine about paying 3.50 for gas. We need to make ourselves energy efficient and independent. As much as I want to say it, we need a strong government right now.
