Who do you think was the best representation of what naruto could have become?

Obito, Nagato or Gaara? I picked these three because they were in the same situation naruto was when they were young.

nagato imo he was wicked strong and when he was younger he was a lot like naruto but then again garra is a good choice too but only because of the tailed beasts they both had and the way they were treated

I think if naruto didn't take out Nagato and he managed to take out everyone naruto loved, I think he would've been like him in some standards. Obito same since naruto was frowned upon as a child. But not so much as gaara since their villages are different in comparison.

It's easily Gaara. People are forgetting Obito wasn't hated, he wasn't unwanted, and he wasn't ignored like everyone ignored and hated Naruto. Obito didn't have a biju that tried to take control of his body to destroy the village, or to kill his loved ones, or to run free. There is NOTHING similar between Obito and Naruto besides that both are rejected by the girl they love, their dream to be Hokage, and being goofy. Gaara, however, is the most similar to Naruto. He was hated, he had a biju that wanted to control him and destroy the village, he was ignored, just like Naruto. Anyone who says Obito is the most similar to Naruto must be either reading a different manga or smoking very strong stuff.
