[Discussion] Who do you think Luffy would rather save?

So lets say Kaido kidnapps Ace and Big mom kidnapps Zoro

Luffy can only save one of them and the other one dies. Who do you think Luffy would rather save? His unofficial first mate or his older brother?

Usually answers like these are near obvious but with Luffy i feel like he would rather save Zoro.

No smartass answers on how Luffy could manage to save both. Answer the question.

Firstly it would take more time to recognize Ace was taken. Zoro would be taken right in front of him.

Secondly, Whitebeard would be on the move against Kaidou if he took Ace. Kind of goes down to the "I've got my own Adventures deal".

Thirdly, I'm sure Luffy would trust in Ace's strength (someone already mentioned it).

Haha, that's a really bad situation. But I'm going with Zoro. Luffy and Ace always had this "I will take my path and I won't need your help no matter what" type of deal. Luffy broke that to try and save him, but none of his own nakama were on the line at that time. He'd leave that up to Ace's friends, imo.

So many people dodging the question here, suddenly whitebeard shows up, and time is a factor. Bullshit that wasn't the question.

Put it like this:

Ace and Zoro (With seastone handcuffs) are falling into a volcano and luffy is only fast enough to save only one with his rubber arm. Who will he grab?

You can only pick one, the other will die 100% and can't escape himself. Whitebeard won't show up and they're falling at the same time and at the same speed.

- Stretch one arm to capture Ace and stretch one leg to Zoro, so Zoro by himself grabs Luffy's leg
- Stretch the other arm to grab anything
