Who do you think is stronger between Neji and Rock Lee?

Neji had Lee's number prior to the Chunin Exams, but they never got an on-panel match up where they went all out after that. Lee also has since opened up the Sixth Gate.


Who do you feel is the stronger between these 2 rivals?

Because if Gaara's sand couldn't keep up then I don't see Neji keeping up.

Neji, in part one versus Gaara it was implied that he needed gates to even stand a chance against Neji. Nejis byakugan should be able to keep up with Lees movements. Also, neji could survive a few attacks from Gated Lee, he tanked multiple special kunai and high speed arrows in his fight against Kidomaru.

How would Neji's Byakugan allow him to keep up with Lee? It doesn't possess precognition like the Sharingan and even if it did it would be irrelevant; perception doesn't equate into the ability to react.
