There is no such thing as "Night Guy". I swear some people just here a person say something once and all believe it without doing their research.

Gai turning black is a side effect of him frying his body from using the technique of Night Moth. It's not a mode or ascension, it's a technique of 8 Gates.

And to answer your question, Gai is faster.

Smh. Don't get your panties in a twist buddy. Not one soul in this thread stated that Night Guy was a mode. And let's not talk about research when you are still calling it "Night Moth". :lol

RSM using cloak should be logically faster. Gai uses pure foot speed. He doesn't use Ninjutsu. Ninjas usually use Chakra around their legs to create a semi-teleportation like affect. In that regard, the ground isn't touched upon like Gai does.

Madara reacted to his movements just fine. It was only after air pressure from the "Elephant attack" paralyzed him that he couldn't move. Kakashi, Minato, Gaara and Lee could see him just fine. They even formed a coordinated attack. Without that coordination, Madara was still moving faster as the orb was almost closed.
