Why wouldn't he? he's the leader of a group with an A-class bounty.

And i don't know if its just me but Parriston really doesn't seem like a fighter to me. He seems like a pen and paper type of guy.

I doubt he meant Chrollo.

He took on Zeno/Silva and he never even had the intent on killing them, he just wanted their abilities. It would make sense for him to be in the top 5 as well since Hisoka literally went ape-shit over him & was chasing him during the CA arc but he never chased Illumi (partner or not) who was stronger than 1/4th of the zodiac team.

Aside from Ging, I think the other 4 have not been introduced to the story. But that's just a hunch.

Has anyone ever thought that maybe there is no actual/official top 5 nen users list and that Ging was jus so powerful that eveyone automatically places him in their 'personal opionionated' top 5 nen users list? I mean this is not something you can actually quantify as some people, like Chrollo, the Royal Guards, The King, aren't even part of the hunter association, I'm not sure if Beyond is either. We know that Ging is ubber strong (physically, he trashed that guy in front of Pariston with brute force alone), and we know his nen is hax (can copy abilities and that aint even his main hatsu), we also know that he created Greed Island, which has alot of hax abilities (cards) that most of which probably belong to him. So it's only natural that everyone who knows Ging personally would rate him as in their personal top 5 nen users. It's like how in Naruto Pein-Nagato was like the strongest character in the series at one point but no-one even knew about his existence. Or how the Five Kage were hyped as the strongest five shinobi in the elemental nations but we know that there are members of Akatsuki and guys like Jiraiya that are on par/possibly stronger than them. I just think people are taking this top 5 nen user thing way out of context. Anyway, that aside, my top 5, excluding the ants, would be...
1) Ging (Genius, Copied Abilities, Greed Island, Hype)
2)Chrollo (Instant teleportation, indoor fish, Owl's cloth thingy he stole, and many other stolen abilities we don't know about)
3)Beyond Netero(hype)
4)Isaac Netero (Bhudda statue)
5)Botabai (was hyped to be on par with Isaac Netero in both name and ability)

5. I'm pretty sure 3-4 of them are from the seiren group who haven't been introduced yet.
