Just as you would like to be among your peers, other's like being alone. If the idea of being a lone wolf was incomprehensible then it wouldn't really exist among characters and people wouldn't relate. Plus, Indra had kids so I'm sure he had some companionship.

Also, some people don't really care for validation. It's hard to explain but introverts like myself live in their own world, and we validate our own actions immediately. If another person can give solid evidence as to why I'm wrong about an action I'd concede but I wouldn't seek forgiveness or validation. Praise and forgiveness is vain to me, I can give it but I won't demand it or ask for it.

Well you got at least give e for effort because he might be fodder without rikudo chakra he is a hard worker
