Who do you look up to in life? What inspires you to do what you do in life?

The fact is that you tend to become like the people you admire. It can be both ways. Good or bad. Depending the circumstance.*

The problem is many people look up to people who are famous as to sordid reputations. Think about this, if you were shopping for anything like clothes. Would you let a poorly dressed sales person telling you what to wear? Why let some shady celebrity dictate the kind of person you should be? Instead of following the crowd, choose good role models that will help you with two things:

1. Select traits you want to acquire.
2. Initiate people who excel*

It can be anyone! From ancient past to now a days. Look for the good in others. And try to find a worthy imitation.*

Your parent may he consider as such thing. Ask them questions about life.

Personally I never minimize what people feel about me. I have people who are available to help me with problems. When I become anxious I ask for help. What I do is what I get out. I see people in this world where they have nothing. Nothing to go by. And I promised myself that I would help a person like that. There has not been a day go by that a person is regretting life itself and it kills me to see what this world has done to people. We are only human. What can we do? *

The murderers that you don't know are murderers. It's like they figured out how to keep secrets from everyone. Because we are all nosy bitches.

I've always looked up to and admired my older brother. Ever since I was young I remember constantly trying to gain his attention and admiration in almost everything I did. I tried to be like him, and hang out with him every chance I could, mind you I was pretty young and annoying as you can imagine.

I remember one day we were sitting down arguing about something stupid, this was probably a little after I had turned thirteen, after eventually growing tired of our stupid argument, he asked me to shut up and just listen to him for a second. He told me that the one person he respects and loves more than anyone else was me, and despite all the annoying things I do, I was still his closest friend.

My brother is more than just my best friend, he's also my mentor and is constantly giving me advice about everything, from relationships and love to school, work, etc. I can honestly say that I'm lucky to have such a caring individual in my life that looks out for me and is always willing to stick his neck out if I was in trouble.

Though he lives pretty far away now, we still talk all the time and it's fun to share stories about the crazy shenanigans we each get into.

Most people are corrupt. Unless you know the person personally, your either a fool or a blind man if you follow the ideals of an actual person. It may sound silly, but if I had to pick someone to look up to, it would be a fictional character from a show/movie/manga. Characters typically embody a single moral or standard that the creator picks, thus it is easier to attach to a character rather than a person. People are unpredictable, hypocritical and judgmental. Characters you know inside and out.

I wish I had a strong relationship with my brother. You are a nice family.

My brother is not the best of the bunch. To say the least. I don't view him as my brother. Cause I can't.

I feel you man, my relationship with my dad is a whole different story, not every family is perfect but nothing is thicker than blood and wounds heal over time. There's always a way to start over, as I try to do every chance I can with my pop.

Personally I look up to Prophet Muhammad [PBUH] as inspiration. And the qualities he's displayed, I reflect and try to find them in the people around me. Younger, Older, people I don't even know, cartoon characters and when I do I smile and can move on with life. You know just simple qualities like patience, virtue, tolerance, an open mind, someone seeking knowledge, someone who loves and appreciates the world, is selfless and not a hypocrite. The list of traits I look in my inspirations are endless, they are rare, but when I do find someone with even one of those embedded qualities I'll be happy for at least at week.

I tend to like to do things a lot on my own, but I'm trying to learn to depend on others to make them feel noticed and appreciated. Whenever I was in group tasks in high school...I realised to save my self not having to deal with people I would take on most of the work for myself...and then complain later how no one offered to help. Most of the time it was because they were lazy, but also because I never spoke about my ideas.

To make up for it, I'm trying to invest in the traits I look for in people, and give people in a similar boat someone to look up to. Everyone needs inspiration.

The person I admire the most is my mother. She has had difficult moments in her life and is restricted by an illness, but she never gives up, no matter how difficult her life is at some moments. She keeps going forwards and instead of staying in bed because of her illness, she pushes herself forwards, not wanting to let herself be beaten by the illness.
She's also one of the most compassionate people I ever met and is always there for people who need her. She's also not judgemental and supports my decisions, even though to some people those decisions look weird.

I look up to my mom and some of her attributes. She's someone I really look up to in a really important deep sense. I have "famous" people I really admire and respect a lot, but my mom is the one who I look up, mainly because of her endless careness and love and willing to do anything for her kids. That's respect.

If your ava is an actual pic of you, then yes, he does resemble you a little.

I was not talking about that...Like him I believe in me....I believe that I can change my destiny no matter what...and there are other few things as well.....

I hope you get my point.....
