In terms of everything. who is a better character overall?​

Part 1 Naruto.

Part 1 really has it's moments but when you rewatch and realise just how obnoxious Team Kakashi is and how little dynamic Naruto and Sasuke have, it's really something.

x10 more mature, developed and likeable...and we're not even out of the academy yet.

Naruto although I like Boruto's versatility(jutsu wise)

I dunno yet. I'm basically comparing a finished project to a character who hasn't capped yet in his Part 1 story.

Naruto has more going for him right now, but I think Boruto has better dynamics, relationships, etc. That put him on the odds.

Naruto. But solely because I can't for some reason bring myself to follow the Boruto anime and i haven't even read the manga at all because i'm petty and i can't forgive the way some of my fav characters Gaara and Himawari are drawn

I gotta agree with you here. I tried to go back and watch Part I and really team 7 were all rather obnoxious even for kids.

Boruto’s bratty demeanor is actually more relatable tbh. The only thing missing from Boruto is a solid long term villain and an overall goal. Holding out for Kawaki and Kara. And eventually a more active Otsutsuki clan.
