Who do you like more: Rin or Sakura?

I am not bashing, I am merely asking who you like more. If this was Naruto vs Obito or Sasuke vs Kakashi nobody would question my motives. Why does this happen?

My point is, they are parallels, but not the same characters at all. Rin has fewer similarities with sakura than naruto and sasuke have with obito and kakashi.

So saying that Rin is just a version of sakura is like saying obito or kakashi are just versions of naruto and sasuke.

I don't get the nicer comparison, since their personalities are completely different. If you mean what has she done besides having a different personality then (remember we are comparing her to sakura at the same age)

She became a Jinchuriki.

Learned medical ninjutsu seemingly independently.

Was able to graduate the academy at 9 (3 years before sakura) and pass the chunnin exams and become a chunnin at 11. (3 years still)

Became mentally strong enough to put her village over her personal desires and her life.

Gained experience in war, survived being captured twice and directly resisted an enemy ninjas genjutsu.

Nope, rin is as similar to any other female as she is to sakura personality wise. She's equally as similar to hinata as she is to sakura, and ten-ten, and ino.

Nope, rin is as similar to any other female as she is to sakura personality wise.

At that age Rin is better, overall Rin is just a summary of Sakura in a couple of chapters(expect the jinchuriki thing).

Sakura still lacked the mental fortitude and gained ranks still 3 years longer than it took rin.

I'm not talking about skills, I'm saying all the Rin flashbacks is just a simple and nicer version of Sakura.

And the things that Rin did are far more complex than being nice.

The flashbacks are of a cell mission, so of course Sakura has been in a cell mission with her team under similar conditions, so have all the other cells, so there's no special relation there.

-Rin was kidnapped, and put in a direct genjutsu.
-Their squad was in a real war, and was unaccompanied.
- She's forced to take Obito's eye from his dying body.
- Refuses to leave kakashi to die
ect.

In other flashbacks she's shown trying to unite her team or sacrificing her life.


I still don't understand though, if you could be more specific then I would be able to realize what you mean. Basically, the only similarities that I can see from what you are saying are that she was a medic and sakura later becomes a Medic, and that she had the same team structure
