Who do you feel sympathy towards the most? Naruto, Sasuke or Gaara?

Sasuke. Everyone has lost a loved one, but I would've hated if my brother was the one responsible for killing them. Then finding out it was his mission as if the Uchiha's life meant nothing.

Leaning more towards Sasuke, but barely. Garra takes a very close second spot. I'd much rather not know my family then have everything taken away from me in one night by your own family, who you later find out was ordered by your own village. Not just his main family, but his entire clan, he was tortured mentally, he was scared to even make friends out of fear of losing everything again.

But yeah Gaara is a close second.

It's definitely Sasuke. I've come to find the character extremely annoying, but there's no denying that he has it the worst. His entire family massacred in front of him at the age of 7, by his older brother, who he thought loved him so dearly. With Gaara and Naruto, they never had the love from the start and sought it. With Sasuke, he had everything, and then everything he knew was just turned upside down. The trauma at that age... and getting Tsukuyomi'd as well - LOL, that's just the icing on the cake in terms of how horrible it all was.

Gaara is closely the second; he has the trauma of not only being hated by everyone, but people actually trying to kill him, and not being able to get any proper sleep because he's the Shukaku's host. How can a child who has grown up with that from birth EVER process such a thing?

Naruto is the only one that hasn't really gotten anything to complain about. All he had was the hatred, the loneliness and the lack of family. But even then, he had people like the 3rd Hokage and Iruka looking out for him. It's not like anyone he loved dearly tried to kill him or his loved ones lol.

It's pretty close between Sasuke and Gaara but Sasuke wins my sympathy.

Yea, Gaara's father tried to kill him and he was hated for a long time, but he still had Temari and Kankuro. His family, so he was never really alone. Even though Temari and Kankuro didn't like Gaara to much when he was young, he still had had his siblings.

Sasuke though, had everyone he cared about killed by the one he loved the most. Then had to watch Itachi die right in front of him. Then found out that all his brother was trying to do was protect him and make him strong, and started regretting his actions and hated the village for forcing his brother to do this. But now Sasuke has only one more related person to him in this world and that person is trying to control the world and kill him. That life sucks.

Sasuke--he had love and lost it. However, the reason he gets the most sympathy from me is his anguish is still going on. Naruto and Gaara where able to change their tragedy into triumph, but Sasuke still hasn't achieved that. At lot hate him after the Five Kage Summit because he was so lost in the darkness, but I felt more sympathetic for because he was so lost.
