Who did Tobirama resurrect ?

I'm curious about what Madara said:

IWR was originally intended to wipe the map clean -- as in, that's what Tobirama intended to use it for. That raises a few questions:

How does Madara know this?
Who could Tobirama possibly have summoned that had that kind of power?
For what reason would Tobirama wish to wipe the map clean? Granted, Madara doesn't mean literally wipe out everything on the planet/map, but it still seems excessive.

I really hope we get more info on IWR's origins, because it's difficult to hold Tobirama in a positive light.

I too think it was hashirama , who else would he bring back? He probably thought it would be a good idea but once big bro got back hashi mightve told him that it was unnatural and wrong to do. Tobi agreed and classified it as forbidden. After he died the cat was out the bag madara and orochi find out through scrolls and the rest is history .... possibly. Again if a close family member died a desperate person might do anything to bring them back especially sacrifice an enemy ninja.

Well I think we know when Tobirama died at least. It was ~52 years ago, in the First War. We know he died then because he became the sacrifice for his team so they could escape, and he would die. He would have been around 30 years old at the time, give or take a few years. So in today's time, he would be anywhere from 82-92 years old, Hashirama would be anywhere from 92-102 years old, since he was a little bit older than Tobirama. Same goes for Madara and Izuna. Madara is around Hashirama's age, Izuna around Tobirama's age.

So yeah, that's when he died, we don't really know of any ninja back then that he could have used IWR on, the ones we do know, such as Danzo and Hiruzen and the elders now, obviously weren't used for IWR.

Tobirama has used the technique in the past for those who are saying only Oro and Kabuto used it. Tobirama's Edo summons were possibly used vs. Madara or Madara witnessed the technique at some point. He claims that Edo Tensei was created to clear the battlefield. In other words, to destroy everything in the battlefield with immense attacks that would otherwise kill the user. This of course means that Tobirama used living sacrifices .

Tobirama may not have had control over his Edo Tensei summons. This is what "upgrading" or "completing" may mean when Oro claimed he completed it. Kabuto's upgrade was also better control of the summons.
