Who did Madara give his eyes to before his death?

Tobito “Supposedly” gave the Rinnegan to Nageto, but Madara gave his eyes to someone else before he died??? and Tobi eventually got them from that person and somehow transplanted them into an unknowing Nageto as a child, there are many questions that need to be answered. Who was the person that kept Madara’s eyes before Tobi got them and how were they transplanted into Nageto?

Its easy to get confused if you take what obito(tobi) said about him giving the rinnegan to nagato seriously. As you know obito(tobi) went by the name of madara before the war even started. Thus, if you go by the name he used then you could easily see that madara is the one who gave nagato the rinnegan. This is proven by ch. 601 where madara states he gave his eyes to someone else and just implanted another uchiha sharigan to fill in one of his eye sockets.
If you look the time when nagato used the rinnegan, before he used the rinnegan, and present nagato that we have seen in the manga; then you would noticed that nagato can't deactivate his rinnegan eyes like kakashi can't deactivate his sharigan eye and how ao can't dactivate his byakugan eye but, edo madara was able to go from sharigan to ems to rinnegan and then go between rinnegan and ems freely.

During the time Madara was dead Tobi was in charge of gathering the beasts for the Moon eye plan until Madara was revived once again.

Senju DNA + EMS = Rinnegan.

EMS Madara with Hashirama DNA obtained Rinnegan.
Uzumaki Nagato with Madara's EMS obtained Rinnegan.
