I thought long and hard but Ill have to go with shino....sad is alot of ppl might need a while to remember who that is. Shino was actually a good fighter and pretty smart. He didnt have much trouble in the chunnin exams or against kankuro. Question is what the heck happend to him. He is getting no face time whatsoever. It s like the dude had great potential yet he gets nothing. I cant even lengthen this thread cuz the lack of panel time. Lol. He gets his moments but kishi doent do a good job of showing his strength. Is he even in this war?(fighting the juubi) He might be at home still. Lol. Sorry Shino

I would have to agree the last episode that I remember where he got the most screen time is a filler against the bee users. After that he has made sparatic appearances in the manga as well as some brief screen time in Road to Ninja and its prologue (though kishi did make it up to him by giving him a huge slug)

I would have to go with Dosu; such potential was erroneously wasted. He was arguably smarter than all of the Genin at the time aside from Shikamaru, yet conversely had shown to be more knowledgeable in human anatomy/sound techniques than Shikamaru himself. Not only this, but he figured out Orochimaru's plans and decided to act on his own accord. After all of this, Kishimoto had him killed off.

It is saddening to think such characters can be wasted like that. Kishimoto's biggest mistake in my opinion.

Kishi twisted the story, focusing mainly on the Uchihas, senju's , the juubi, and obitos troll story, he presumably forgot about the rest since he's thinking they are not needed lol nagato got screwed the most ..totsuka blitz=WTF !!

How so?
Nagato wanted to bring pain to the world not make it his own vision of peace. He was warped in his thinking and no longer gave a ****.
I suppose his own vision of peace was wipeing out all of the nations. I think it is a perfectly legitimate and badass plan.
