Now let me explain why I don't think it was Haoshoku Haki:

Haoshoku Haki doesn't injure people. Yet we clearly see Cavendish etc. being injured.

Not only this but Haoshoku Haki is commonly encountered in the New World (we've seen it at least twice since chapter 698). So I also doubt Sabo has only heard rumours about Haoshoku Haki. That's why I believe it's a Devil Fruit.

He probably crushed the contestants.

This is possible because, if he has the ability to affect Meteors with his powers (over 100,000 meters away AT LEAST), then he can certainly use techniques that can affect anywhere he pleases on the Island. Although of course I would suspect that the Gravitational pull toward the Earth will be weaker when using a Technique further away from himself, this justifies why he (if it was him) didn't crush the ring.

I also believe that the only standing contestant could be a Marine. "Capman" aka Maynard was an undercover Marine. Who said he was the only Marine to go undercover?

Neither can Haki. It looks like dirt and dust clouds from the ring. It also may simply be used by Oda to hide the winner for an epic cliffhanger

Iam not saying that someone used Haki but IMO it was someone in the ring,most probably Rebecca considering the fact that she is famous for her speed though I still don't think she is that fast.

Since G2 Luffy wouldn't be fast enough, and base Luffy was faster than Rebecca...
She was also seen on the floor unconscious like everyone else. So I doubt Rebecca did it

This is very well possible because doflamingo and fujitora left for the palace around 3 chapters ago. And they were already in dressrosa , getting to the palace wouldn't have been a hassle.xd

Everyone tAlks about kings Haki not being able to hurt people , but what if there more to kings haki then we know. What if shanks breaking whitebeards ship w/ haki was foreshadowing that there's a lot more to kings haki. Someone did a video regarding this topic ( I believe fire fist shanks). Anyway something to think about. Happy holidays
