We're all well aware that Indra had a few screws loose when he betrayed his brother and father, but the anime made a convenient setting for the continuation of his story.

Rather than having the two brothers die in battle like they did in the manga, the anime shows Indra losing and retreating. We also know that Hagoromo didn't trust his descendants and wrote the stone tablet to dissuade them from evil. So exactly who did Indra marry, did he love her and his children more than his brother and father? I would assume so.

I want to know how the Uchiha clan and Senju clan were created.

It was a girl whose clan or family didn't agree with Ninshuu and Ashura ways, considering Indra founded Ninjutsu. Maybe it was a cute and calm girl like Izumi and Mikoto, but I rather think it was a fierce kunoichi.

We don't know if Indra was as brutal or as rage-filled around his family as he was around Asura and Hagoromo.

Anime is constantly contradicting the manga. Both died in battle, as a matter of fact, both of them turned into ash with possibly some kind of huge explosion. Asking who Indra married is like asking the sun why it exists.

It's all for speculations sake.

And that would make sense as to why the clans didn't take on the name Otsutsuki but made up their own, probably because their fathers were dead long before they could meet them.

Unlike Madara Indra planted his seed so his clan can grow before he died in battle with Ashura.

I think he showed affection, as the Uchiha seems to love their lineage and family very much. But I think he also showed his dark side, passing down his hatred for his sons about their uncle and grandfather (Ashura and Hagoromo) - and maybe that's why the girl must be against those two, considering a wife should encourage love between all the family members (but Kanna didn't stand up for Indra too so it's ok)

That's my thing though, exactly what the hell happened to cause the Senju and Uchiha to just up and start fighting. I understand the grudge but someone had to have done something stupid.

You don't gotta get married to have children lol but If he did marry; I'm pretty sure he practiced polygamy. Indra probably made his offsprings for the purpose of defeating Ashura & his followers.

The possibility of that is high. He did believe that his power was absolute and indestructible and as a result took the most basic measures possible to make sure people had the right skills necessary to challenge Ninshu. The right skills being the Sharingan.

Or maybe he was just feeling lonely and had a family and decided that they needed to take on the burden of overthrowing Ninshu.

If that were the case his power struggle against his brother would've ended and there wouldn't have been a cycle of hatred.

His brother was too strong anyways, it's not like his descendants would be as strong as him though. So if anything Indra's children would have had the advantage.

The cycle of hatred was always weird to me because it wasn't even like the Uchiha were the only ones with hatred mucking things up. I mean look at Tobirama.

Indra and Ashura fought almost immediately after Hagoromo chose a successor, that means they had already conceived children before the conflict when Hagoromo was still alive. And yes, they banged humans.

Okay, so if we're going by manga facts, then the feud between the Uchiha and Senju would have been an ass-pull because both sides would have been oblivious of the other.

No, Uchiha and Senju feud could have only happened if either :

1. Indra's offspring was/were old enough to know Ashura killed him

2. or if he/they inherited Indra's will to kill Ashura's lineage and gain power

In either case they would have to be AT LEAST over age of 6 because children under that age generally have no conscious memory of their childhood and parents (as proven by Sarada) and therefore have no reason to fight like their parents.

The feud was definitely started by Indra's side though because Ashura wanted peace and wouldn't have told his offspring to kill his borhter's descendants.

The way I see it, Indra and Ashura died when their children were old enough to be aware of what was happening between their fathers and Indra's child/children decided to avenge him while Ashura's descendants were simply defending themselves.

In addition, Hagoromo's death and the death of his sons led to a power vacuum which allowed other clans to join in on the conflict between Otsutsuki descendants, that eventually resulted in the era of clan wars
