What about the susano'O they can't hit u with a blind spot either and plus you can beat with with speed like u can 2 garaas sand plus it's covered with Enton

Gaara can pull a Susano'o user from underneath.
Susano'o has that 1 weakness.
If its the perfect Susano'o then i agree it would be a better defense than gaara's sand.
but keeping it up would drain loads of chakra and as we know Gaara's sand acts autonomously and does not require chakra

Yea that's true but there has to be sand underneath the susano'O n this can only happen if he's fighting garaa and sasuke has EMS now so it wouldnt take as much chakra as it used 2 b

1-Naruto bijou cloak:
Doesnt harm the user.
Gives you tons of powerups like speed, sensory and other stuff (that is defence in a way as well).
Protection all around the body.
2-Gaara his sand shield.
Part of it is automatic:
Doesnt harm the user.
Protection possible to be all around the body (with third eye).
3-Sasuke susanoo.
Harms the user, so just for using it, you take damage already.
Open from the bottom.
Doesnt harm the user.

On topic,
gaara's sand is auto,takes no chakra,has already blocked a complete susanoo attack,protected gaara from a meteor,it is very fast now and can block instant attacks,gaara can also add more chakra and sand to further increase it's defencive prowess,it also isnt attached to gaara,meaning he can block attacks midway and set up defences in front of him so as to increase his chances of surviving the attack,also sand is an opaque object,rendering light attacks ineffective. Sand armour is also very helpful as it renders taijutsu a very bad idea,but takes up a large amount of chakra to stay active and slows him down as it is quite heavy coupled with his gourd makes gaara seem quite slow.
Bijuu chakra shroud is next,it gives a high defence,but it is on the user,which means if an attack can break it,the user would suffer heavy damage,as seen when naruto stated that a raikage punch would kill him,however it is quite strong now,it takes some chakra as the jin is also giving the bijuu chakra while taking some of the bijuus chakra,so it dosent last for a very long time and overuse can harm the user. However,an allround very good defence as it can take powerful hits and attacks.
3) sasuke's enton susanoo,it is quite strong,however takes not only the chakra,but the life force of the user continuosly while being used,according to danzo,it's weakness is an area behind it in which a powerful wind releas move can break,also it dosent protect the user underneath,meaning a powerful earth release user can attack via the ground underneath,also if the user is attacked by light,the susanoo is helpless to protect the user,also if an opponent manages to ind a way to attack the user inside the susanoo,the user is somewhat trapped in his own susanoo for a few seconds before he can deactivate it.
However,the defensive abilities make up for the consequences to a large degree.

nagato. preta path, shinra tensei, asura path armour.
you mentioned the two things that have zero defensive feats. theyve done literally nothing.
I'd still go with Gaara's Shield and Armor of Sand considering Yata mirror and PS are exluded
pros:
-automatic
-Gaara doesnt need to be aware [no blindspot]
-less chakra consumption therefre lasts longer
-can protect a large area
-can take very large damage
-can create spikes to counter melee attacks
cons:
-weak against really fast attacks (couldnt catch up to 5th gate Rock Lee)
-not sure, but i think it gets heavier when water is applied, therefore becomes slower.
He can pull out a person out of his Susanoo too, and even if its covered by Amaterasu, it wont hurt Gaara coz he'll be using his sand. and Amaterasu for some reason burns really slowly, so he still has time to get rid of that burnt sand.
