No portrayal surpasses feats. By feats, Nagato is above Hagoromo. Portrayal tells us however, that Hagoromo is above Nagato. The same is the case here, the author portrays the 5 Kage as the best fighters present. That said, again, Kurtsuchi, Darui, and Chojuro all displayed amazing feats against Momoshiki and Kinshiki. Darui and Chojuro even in Part 2 considering Darui fought a 6-Tails Jinchuriki and Chojuro fought Black Zetsu, the same creature who was fighting KCM Naruto Clone.
War Arc Chojuro wouldn't be able to take on the mini Juubi or take on that many at once.

Literally, all of Chojuro's powers are based on that sword. If he's disarmed he's already defeated. He was helpless when Momoshiki managed to disarm him.
