[Discussion] Who can solo Kurama ?

I disagree with most too. But MS Izuna ( probably almost as strong as Madara imo ) and Shisui ( KA ). And I believe EMS Sasuke could handle him. He has amaterasu and Kurama is a big target. Susano as defense.

I don't agree man. Any akatsuki member ? How does Hidan handle Kurama ? Or Sasori, Konan, Kisame.. Even Nagato is debatable. His shibaku tensei couldn't even hold 8tailed Kurama. And that was a weakened Kurama, because of RDS.
I'm talking about the Kurama that attacked Konoha, only he is uncontrolled this time.

Hidan just needs a sip of its blood, he, was really the only one who I doubted a bit.
Konan can do the same thing she did to Tobi, no Izanagi for the kyuubi to save it.
Sasori has highly poisonous attacks, and the iron sand could quite come in handy.
Kisame, well how is this not obvious, steal chakra with samehada and that huge shark technique.
Itachi can just Amaterasu it or seal it.
Kakuzu can use combined attacks to cause massive destruction.
Same goes for Deidara.
Nagato might not be able to chibaku tensei it, but he has other, far better suited techniques for this, like absorbing chakra.

And besides all that, what can the kyuubi really do?
Its attacks can be dodged quite easily, only a tailed beast bomb can be a problem.

Konan : TBB is OP as f*uck. It could blow away most of the paper tags. Plus no prep time for Konan
Sasori : do you realize the amount of poison that would be needed to bring Kurama down ?
Kakuzu and Deidara, those two have a chance.

You are seriously overrating a tailed beast bomb.
It also takes time to charge.
Kisame also could easily handle the 8 tails, the only thing is that Samehada took a liking to the octopus flavour, something Kyuubi lacks.
The shark missile is more powerfull against the Kyuubi simply because it absorbs chakra to get stronger, time it against a TBB and the kyuubi is out in one shot.
If Konan does manage to create that many paper bombs, it'll be done faster than the Kyuubi charges his TBB.

Hidan might be a bit close, but the most of them could probably take it mid difficulty, Kisame probably without any difficulty at all.
