Power isn't everything. Hidan > Kidomaru > Shikamaru, yet Shikamaru pulled off a victory. Honestly, with intel, Hidan is barely a threat. And with Kidomaru's golden skin, which could defend him and his binding threads, which Hidan would likely be unable to rip due to how strong they are (kunais did nothing and Kido stated it could hold 2 elephants), he can pull off a win w/ full intel, prep, and in a forest.

Ok he can give Hidan some trouble if he only run away but he'd still lose. It's just a case that Hidan is on another lvl then Kido as pretty much whatever Kido dishes out can be dodged and in CQC Kido doesn't stand much of a chance.

No I did not. Hidan will attempt to slash Kidomaru only to be stopped by the golden armor. Kido spits a web, Hidan gets stuck to a tree, then he gets filled with holes. It probably wouldnt be that simple, but again, Hidan has no way of hurting Kido whatsoever.

Hidan is agile but still the slowest Akatsuki whilst carrying that scythe. The scythe is useless in this battle so he may as well discard it.

No matter how fast he is, in a forest Hidan is flipping into or getting trapped in a web. There's just no way he can avoid them for literally eternity. Since Hidan has no way of hitting, this is just a waiting game battle for Kido.

Sticky gold can be fashioned into blades, not just arrows. Hidan's head comes off.

Spider summoning requires someone of Hyuuga rotation speed to kill every devouring spider. That can eat him.
