How about tobi for controlling perf jinc for many years ? This should be pretty good feat for genjutsu (but it i think yaguras tailed beast couldnt care less about him and didint break the genjutsu)

Itachi was said to be the strongest Genjutsu user in Naruto and this came from Shikaku. I think the only person who has a stronger genjutsu is Shisui. Anyone else will fold. Sasuke can probably fight against it but genjutsu vs genjutsu he would lose. We need to remember that Itachi let Sasuke break his genjutsu because we know that Itachi had ZERO plans to defeat Sasuke but had to make the fight look real enough to reveal Orochimaru.

true, but that sealing toad did state that no one was capable of controlling the kyuubi, when jiraiya corrected him saying that there was but one, madara. that said, after madara's fight the kyuubi spent its days inside jinchuuriki until tobi came along. so it's kind of a moot point whether the ms users who came after could control the kyuubi. so i'm going to assume you're right on that one.

that said, Madara should at least be able to at least draw Itachi in a genjutsu battle, even if his genjutsu abilities like Sasuke's are probably inferior.
