There is no way in hell he is beating Minato. He may have Susanoo and his MS techs but, Minato's analysis skills are way higher than Itachi's.

Think about this; Itachi was in the Akatsuki for 5 years with Obito. Minato fought Obito for 10 minutes at most while the Kyuubi was destroying Konoha. Minato found a counter to his Kamui and released the Kyuubi from his control. (Minato also protected Kushina and Naruto). Itachi had no information on Obito at all (manga fact) after being in the Akatsuki for 5 years.

If Itachi were to face Minato he couldn't keep up with his speed and he Minato's analysis skills surpass his.

Rasengan would do just fine in killing Itachi. With Itachi's lack of stamina, Rasengan's power is increased to a point were 2 could kill him.
