Next, what are your favourite books/series written by your favourite authors? Top 5

1. Darren O' Shaughnessy: Cirque Du Freak Series - This was a very hard choice because all of his series' are great but I just have too many memories with Cirque Du Freak and I think it may very well be my favourite series of all time!

2. Pseudonymous Bosch: The Secret Series - Once again, I have re-read this YA series 3 times over! All three times I read them back to back in a matter of 2 nights! Just goes to show how much I love this series.

3. Johnathon Stroud: The Bartimaeus Trilogy - This was a very captivating, suspenseful, and such an enjoyable series. I loved every page of it!

4. Emily Rodda: Deltora Quest - Sure there are so many more fantasy books that are better than this (matter of opinion), but for a series aimed at such a young audience, it was a rather spectacular series. I loved every bit of it and the plot, characters, villains were just amazing.

5. J.K. Rowling: Harry Potter - Ah, the infamous Harry Potter Series... While I could have easily picked 10 more authors/series' just as great, I grew up with Harry Potter! I waited years and years for each novel to come out! J.K. Rowling is a brilliant author with a fantastic story. No words can explain my love for this series (or any other of my top 5 for that matter)

8. Paul Stewart - Children Action/Adventure
9. Jim Butcher - Fantasy
10. Jana Oliver - Young Adult Fantasy

Top 5:

This series doesn't need an explanation.

2. Jim Butcher - Codex Alera series.
This was just an epic fantasy with an amazing magical system/world and a brilliant hero.

3. Cassandra Clare - Mortal Instruments series.
One of my favourite YA series.

4. Chris Bradford - Young Samurai series.
This is a children's series but I still enjoyed it. The tale of Jack Fletcher and his journey through 18th century Japan as a young samurai is exciting and leaves you wanting more.

5. Brent Weeks - Night Angel trilogy.
Truly amazing trilogy that has plenty of action, adventure, fantasy and some romance. Very well written.

I have to add Chloe Niell who writes the Chicagoland Vampires series. Its romance/paranormal fantasy and I absolutely love it! Only on book 5 now.
