Who are the Sannin(Excluding Tsunade) READ BEFORE COMMENTING

okay guys so ive wondered this from day one. Who do you all think two of the legendary Sannin are? By that i AM referring to Master Jiraiya and Lord Orchimaru...EVERYONE seems to have a clan of some sort but they are top tierish characters and have no clan.

Where do you think they came from AND YES i did read the manga...i just never ever saw anything that answered this in the manga, anime, or filler anywhere and it still bugs me

Orphans...

Jairaya was a f*ck up.He seems like a product of child negligence, to be honest. Character so similar to naruto's. Or maybe even a single mom that ignores him...something like that.

And orchimaru was some introvert kid, with no real placement. OR, orchimaru could also be a product of a single mom that ignores him, lmao.

As good as a foster kid, pretty much.

No clan affiliation was ever given. Like Sakura, Minato, Guy, Lee, etc. they aren’t affiliated with a particular clan. Just exceptional people of mundane stock.

 

[The Paradox]

The only one that I see might be from an actual clan (or at least a unique family) is Orochimaru. Kind of like the Hoshigaki clan in that their appearance and abilities resembles that of an animal (Fish/Sharks for them. Snakes for Orochimaru's family/clan).

Jiraiya is just an orphan of probably average shinobi. Maybe one parent was from a smaller clan at best. He's just like Guy, Lee, Sakura, Kakashi etc. Just from an unknown small family or lesser family/clan at best.

They're likely Senju descendants who mixed with the others(lesser clans) of Konoha.

Jiraiya's parents were unknown, but it was revealed Orochimaru's parents died.

Jiraiya was born from an artificial womb made of pure chakra and nature energy, no parents, in order for him to train the prophesized child

The Saninaffinityam 7 inverse.
But they are older, so clan didn't make the ninja, they were actually the one who set standards for those clans.
They all were special though, probably in terms of chakra and affinity.

Jiraiya had a ridiculous amount of chakra and an affinity for toads, even before signing the contract. As seen with his reverse summon, and his wart. So he is probably a special case, or his orgins probably tie in closely with the Toad Mountain.

Same with Orochimaru, he had an affinity for snakes at a young age, hell look at his appearance, and this was before his experiments, he probably have some ties to the Cave, which is why i find it odd that he couldn't learn Sage Mode. Or rather perfect Sage mode, I feel that he would been like Jiraiya, he just though too highly of himself.

Tsunade being Senju/Uzumaki was a plot device, to make her Hokage and a princess, show off the skill of the Senju and Uzumaki, and probably because he intended on making her more of a heavy hitter, no pun, when she was suppose to defeat Pein. Also it was hard to make her slug like, in constrast to the boys. I bet her origins was a scrapped idea of Sakura's background, because why give her that title and have her show nothing for it, All of Tsunade's abilities where her own. But yeah I think her deal was to mostly give Naruto the necklace, and because its not as easy to make her look slug like in humanoid form as the others.​

We know that they were Hiruzen students since 5 years. And by then Orochimaru did not have kids.

But what about Tsunade? We dont know nothing of her parents nether. So this might mean that her parents died just as everybody's parents.

So that is why Hirzuen took care of them.
